Once you walk the fifty feet from beautiful Fort Lauderdale Beach, and into the mysterious brick building called National Lampoon Underground, you’ll never want to leave! On the first level, it’s a lively beach bar, jumping with a fun-loving crowd of party people sipping cocktails, wine and frosty beer. Next stop: the second-floor comedy club, where you can giggle your everyday cares away. Just when you think that life can’t get any better, you’ll find party nirvana up on the roof! The turquoise Atlantic sparkles before you, vintage National Lampoon magazine covers transport you back to the best times of your life (so far), and rock ‘n’ roll memorabilia all over the place makes you grin. If you think this is as good as it gets, you haven’t tried the delicious food! Salty breezes make a Hungry Man Nacho Platter, or a spicy Four-Meatball Parmigiana Slider taste even better. Juicy certified Angus Burgers and Chicken Sandwiches are named after Clark Griswold of the National Lampoon Vacation films. Other dishes are named after National Lampoon’s Animal House and even John Belushi would be crazy about the Classic Toga Caesar Salad — FOOD FIGHT!!! Fat Pastrami and Brisket Corned Beef Sandwiches, Knishes, Jumbo New York or Italian style Hot Dogs . . . Is this food heaven?
