Kim Diaz Bio
Kim Diaz, the hybrid child of a Spanish father and an Italian mother, was born in Washington, D.C. and raised in La Guaira, Venezuela, and Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Kim began doing stand-up comedy playing such venues as the Ventura Harbor Comedy Club, The Icehouse Annex, and Akbar. She performed “I Don’t Know How This Happened” as part of “The First Final Farewell Tour” with Kate Roxburgh and Cynthia Levin at the Improv Lab in
Hollywood. She also portrayed Aaronow in a showcase of Glengarry Glen Ross at the Sidewalk Theatre in Burbank. She is a stand-up comic as well as a drummer, composer, language interpreter, and former grill cook and pizza goddess. In spite or because of all this, she continues to play many comedy rooms all over L.A.
