Dan St. Germain Bio

Dan St. Germain is a comedian, writer, and actor working in NY. A 2009 ECNY nominee for Best Emerging Comic, his standup's been featured on shows such as Comedy Central at Crash Mansion, Whip Lash at UCB, 50 First Jokes at Webster Hall, Punch Up Your Life at Housing Works, Drink at Work at Comix Comedy Club, Irish Eyes are Laughing with Patrice O'Neal at Comix, The Greg Johnson Show at Pianos, Don’t Touch Me There at Karma Lounge, Tell Your Friends at Lolita Bar, The Morrison Motel at Cornelia Street Café’, Saturday Night at the Boston Comedy Studio, and with the sketch groups Derek and Murder Fist. He was a finalist in the NY Comedy Contest and a semi-finalist in the Boston Comedy Festival. He has been profiled in both Time Out NY and Break Through Radio. He’s performed in colleges such as Princeton, Bard, Temple, and Columbia University as well as benefits for Toys for Tots at the Sage Theater and the Middletown N.J. Firefighter’s Association. He’s a contributing writer for the Onion News Network and his play Jersey Story was performed at the Young Playwright’s Festival and Conference in 2002. They Hated Each Other, a two man show he created with fellow comedian Jared Logan, has been performed at the BK Lyceum at Gentrify Brooklyn. He is currently working on a new film, Rex Gets Sober, and collaborating with Mike Drucker, writer for Jimmy Fallon. He is a co-producer of Wood Shed Productions, along with Mike Lawrence, which held comedic events last year such as Invasion of the Bawdy Snatchers and Auld Lanxiety. He is the co-creator of Jake the Snake is Lost in Space and has been featured in many Wolf Angle short films. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Evansville in Theatre with an Associated Study in International Relations. He’s also an amateur percussionist and a trained singer in both Chamber and Gospel music.
