MDA BENEFIT HONORING JERRY LEWIS

An MDA Benefit honoring Mr. Jerry Lewis,
the man who has dedicated over 50 years to
help find a cure for Muscular Dystrophy.
The Comedy Store September 4^th 2011 at 7pm.
'RED CARPET' will begin at 6pm.

The 3 hour fundraiser will feature comedians, musical guests and celebrity videos to honor Mr. Lewis for his lifetime dedication as the MDA telethon’s host and for touching the lives of so many in helping find a cure for this muscular disease.

The show will be hosted by the comedy duo of Piper and Tupper (MTV’s Half Hour Comedy Hour), with Tommy Davidson (In Living Color), John Caponera (The Tonight Show), Ralphie May (Comedy Central), Rick Overton (The Office) Melinda Hill, (Late Show with Craig Ferguson), Chris Valenti (Improv), Ricky Del Rosario (Comic View) and Mike Vinn (The Comedy Store).
Singing sensation Shyra, Major Crooner with his ‘throwback’ style from the days of ‘class’ and velvet-toned vocals, along with the Regal Ms. Sarah Spiegel (currently touring with Louis Prima Jr. & the Witnesses) will share their musical talents backed by the Lorenzo Don Quartet. Amy Weber (Good Samaritans) will serve as the evening’s co-host.
There will also be video and written dedications from such comedians as Robin Williams, George Wallace, Tim Conway, Bobby Slayton, Mad TV’s Bobby Lee and others. In addition, May May Ali and other guest speakers will give personal stories and challenges regarding debilitating diseases and the effects they have on family and friends. The benefit will honor Mr. Lewis, a man who has dedicated over 50 years helping find a cure for Muscular Dystrophy.
All proceeds from this event will go towards Jerry’s Kids and the fight against Muscular Dystrophy. Tickets for the event are $25.00 for General Seating, $50.00 for Select Seating and $100.00 for VIP Seating. Seating is limited.
