HKL stands for “Hugs Kisses & Laughs.” That’s our brand name because that’s our goal for our audience. Come to our shows on a date, with a friend or friends, or even alone. Rest assured that you will wind up getting and giving both hugs and kisses, while we provide the laughs.
HKL’s co-producers are:
Alex Barnett: is a husband and father, which means he is no longer the boss of himself. He performs at clubs, colleges and private events all over the country. He’s been featured in The Wall Street Journal and CNN.com. In 2011, he won the 12th Annual Gilda’s Club (Northern NJ) Laugh-Off. Alex transitioned from his legal career to become a comic, and he is a member of the comedy group, Comedians at Law, a group that regularly performs at events for law schools, law firms and bar associations. Kevin J. Williams: has been seen in on CNBC, Fox, and even Lenny Kravitz’s “Come On Get It” music video. He was a semi-finalist in The 2010 Midwest Comedy Competition as a published writer, his articles have been in MSNBC’s TheGrio.com and The Harvard Business Review. Kevin performs at New York City comedy clubs including Caroline’s On Broadway, Gotham Comedy Club, The Laugh Lounge, New York Comedy Club, Broadway Comedy Club and The Comic Strip Live.
