Ray Combs & Florida Comedy Club Presents:
FCC Comedy Show #71 Quinton Greene
Host: Rhett Thompson
Open Mic Host: Chewie Cardoza
Headliner: Quinton Greene
Quinton's first "official" comedic experience came as a contestant in the Charleston Comedy Festival's Stand-Up Comedy competition. While this experience was initially meant as a means of crossing an item off his "bucket list", he ended up joking his way into the final round of the competition and was instantly bitten by the comedy bug. From there, Q began to hone and develop his skills in a number of venues throughout the South East. Accolades to date include selection for Nephew Tommy's "50 Comics Deep" contest as well as finalist spots in Ditchdog Entertainment's "Clash of the Comics", the World Series of Comedy preliminary contest, Raw Dawg Entertainment's "The Real Last Comic Standing", and the Savannah Comedy Revue. Some additional performances include; The Improv in Tampa and Orlando, FL, Coconuts Comedy Clubs, Side Splitters Comedy Club, Nova 535, Got Jokes Comedy House, and several Purple Kisss Entertainment special events. Quinton has also served as Host for several comedy showcases throughout Central Florida. His special brand of comedy is catching on and taking charge in the hearts of audiences all over.
Guest Spot: Kojo Prince
Kojo Prince comes from a long line of performers; Great Grandmother working in Vaudeville, Grandmother as an opera singer and Mother (Falumi Prince) as a featured singer with Harry Bellefonte. His first appearance as a Comedian was at the Village Gate in Greenwich Village, NYC in 1992. From that point on he knew where his heart lied, on stage performing in front of an audience. A constant professional that maintains his focus and pleasant demeanor off and on stage. All this is branded by three things that were taught to him by his late Mother; "above all, be professional, be polite and always be on time...because the show must go on".
