One of the many features we have built in for Comedians here at LaughStub.com includes selling tickets through the facebook fan page and via their facebook profile.  As much as we love Facebook, they don’t make things so easy for us geeks (programmers) which means that you have to follow some steps before you can integrate this feature into your profile.  Is it worth it?  Yes, I mean HELL YES.  Giving the ability for any user on facebook to have an easy link to get tix to your show is definitely worth while, so consider the steps below just a solution to a popular problem.

LaughStub.com is much more than just a web application with some servers behind it and a few thousands lines of code… it’s a comedy engine.  It’s a platform allowing for comedy clubs to join the online world in a new way.  This engine allows for venues, be it small or large, to sell their tickets, track their customers via an advanced CRM, share their shows on all the popular social networking platforms, manage their sales, manage their marketing & emails, and most importantly cater to their customers based on their online choices.  The website is powered by the most advanced database engine out there… Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and it is fully optimized for speed & up-time.  It uses all stored procedures, for you geeks out there that actually understand what I’m saying, and is built for scalability.  We have developed simultaneously with the website the Google Android application, the Facebook application, and a mobile enhanced version with custom CSS made for the iPhone.
