THE MDL TRIO Bio
The MDL trio is the brainchild of Myles David Lancette, www.mylesdavidlancette.com, a singer songwriter and music producer with a vibe all his own. Son of Hyland Stokes, Leader of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band the “Mystics,” Myles has brought together the MDL trio and a very unique organic sound, performing originals and hand picked cover songs that never stale, reworking them to fit his soulful character. If you take “John Mayer” and “Coldplay,” mix in some “Stevie Wonder” and “D'Angelo” with a generous helping of jazz harmony, your getting close! At age 16 Myles received a full jazz scholarship to Arizona State University in which he attended studying with Chuck Marohnic. When asked why a sixteen year old would be enrolled at ASU, Marohnic replied, "when you hear him, you'll know why he's with us."
