Shawn Halpin Bio
Shawn started his comedy career in the bars and comedy clubs of Texas, then soon moved to LA where is took a job once held by Sam Kinison, the door guy at the World Famous Comedy Store. There he was seen by Pauly Shore who soon after asked Shawn to go on tour with him. This is were Shawn became an instant club favorite. Shawn can be seen regularly in LA at the Improv, The Comedy Store, The Laugh Factory, and Jon Lovitz Comedy Club as well as every bar and hole in the wall bar that has comedy. Shawn Halpin is a club favorite around the country and now the world after his recent run on the "Tom Green World Stand Up Comedy Tour". Shawn is a winner of the Uncle Clyde's Comedy Contest at the Ice House in Pasadena, a regional finalist in NBC's Last Comic Standing ll, a finalist in the Boston Comedy Festival, and the Melbourne and Sydney Comedy Festivals.
