I perforn Every Sun/Mon at the World Famous Comedy Store The starting point for many famous names. 40 Comics. Yes, that's 40! I Robert William Abrevaya , as The creator writer and host of critically acclaimed Robert William Abrevaya Show was in line to take over for Jonny Carson when he retired but politics played a part in it,I The headliner of the world famous comedy store Potluck since 1983 also the year of my first national T.V. appearance on Showtime’s ”funniest people in America” as a comic. Myself beginning my comedy career in 1977in The Westwood Comedy store and I performed in Hollywood I had completed law school and had several prestigious internships with law firms and courts in Los Angeles but believed entertainment was a much better use of my time to complete my mission in life with pro freedom, pro pot agenda . The awareness and education of the public comes from entertainment I fell in love with comedy so I worked as a ‘door guy” first this affording me to learn the ins and outs of comedy and perform at The World Famous Comedy Store as it is today I have worked with all the best of the best here at the comedy store .Potluck is a variety of beginning comics to the biggest names in comedy I quickly advanced as headliner and have worked with them all from Robin Williams ,David Letterman ,Jim Carey, As they developed along side Louie Anderson, Richard Pryor who I saw prepare and perform on the great Jonny Carson Show growing as a comic in the greatest comedy club on the planet along side Andy Kauffman, Chech&Chong , Yachof Smirnoff and Jimmy “JJ Kid Dynomite” Walker !I Robert William Abrevaya Headline the whole show from 1983 till today...
