Robert Buscemi Bio
Award-winning, critically drooled-over comedian Robert Buscemi is regularly lauded in the press as one of the most innovative, talented comics around. He's becoming a regular on the festival circuit, won Chicago Snubfest's "Best Comic" honors twice, and was named one of three "Best Comedian" finalists at the 2007 Chicago Comedy Awards. He also recently released his debut standup DVD, "Robert Buscemi, (t)wit!", on DVD. An accomplished stage and screen actor, Buscemi is both a SAG member and voice-over ace, and has starred in over a dozen commercials, most famously as a talking cigarette in a series of HILARIOUS, award-winning TV spots. He also stars in many original short comedy films. In addition to writing and starring in two highly acclaimed hour-long one-man stage comedies, Buscemi has done loads of improv and acted in a million plays, including with award-winning Chicago theater companies.
