Marty Johnson Bio
Marty Johnson is a writer/performer. She can currently be seen performing at UCB with her two-woman sketch show, Somebody's in the Doghouse.
Marty recently wrote a sitcom pilot for NBC Universal, and has written and starred in independently-produced pilots which have been selections of the New York Television Festival and Independent TV Festival, as well as winning Best Film in the NBC Short Cuts Film Festival. Her shorts have screened in the Austin Film Festival, LA Comedy Shorts and others. She is a proud member of the Writers Guild.
Her sketch show (Somebody's in the Doghouse) [somebodysinthedoghouse.com]was a finalist in the 2010 Friars Club Improv & Sketch Competition and has toured to numerous cities. She toured the high seas with The Second City on the Norwegian Dawn. Marty has written and performed in multiple mainstage revues with Improv Asylum, and improvises with Harold Night at ImprovBoston. Marty's credits range from doing voiceover work for Adult Swim to producing an episode of NOVA for PBS.
