Leah Gotcsik Bio
LEAH GOTCSIK recently moved from Chicago to NYC. You can catch her in her sketch show, Somebody's in the Doghouse [somebodysinthedoghouse.com] [somebodysinthedoghouse.com], at UCB, with writing partner Marty Johnson, or improvising with Baby Wants Candy and The Made Up Musical.
In Chicago, she improvised with the house team Revolver at iO Chicago, directed Bear Force One for The Annoyance, and performed improv and sketch comedy with The Second City aboard the Norwegian Dawn and with Second City Theatricals. She also taught and directed sketch writing, improv and musical improv at The Second City as an Associate Faculty member.
Leah is a founding member of the mainstage cast at Boston?s Improv Asylum where she improvised and wrote original material for over 5 years. In addition to numerous sketch shows, her writing has been featured in the Austin, New York Television, and LA Comedy Shorts Festivals, on HBO?s Sketchpad2,and at the New York International Fringe Festival .
