John Frusciante Bio
John Frusciante is a writer, improviser, and director who has been at UCBT since 1999, and he is proud to serve as the theatre's Artistic Associate. As an improviser he has appeared in ASSSSCAT 3000 and on various Harold teams including Badman, where he currently plays. He is the writer for Slate.com's weekly web series, "Up In Your Business". Previous writing credits include sketch comedy groups Blitzkrieg, Gunderson, The Skuntz and Gorilla Gorilla, and the websites CollegeHumor.com, Cracked.com, AmplifierMagazine.com, ToplessRobot.com, and Soundwalk.com. He also co-wrote the viral Internet video "BP Spills Coffee" which was seen on The Rachel Maddow Show. His directing credits include Rory & Craig: Our Internet Knowledge and Thuder Gulch's POP CULTURE APOCALYPSE. He is not the guitarist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
