Jeff Lawrence is a Rising Star in the New York Comedy Scene. He has been igniting audiences with his unique blend of Stand Up, Musical Comedy, and Parodies. He is quickly garnishing a reputation as one of NYC’s premier Roast Masters and is available for private functions, and corporate events. Jeff was recently featured in the New York Underground Comedy Festival, the New York Comedy Competition, and was Runner Up in the ‘Music is a Joke” Reality Show Competition. He has been talked about in the Daily News, Time Out New York, GALA, and Nu Magazine. Jeff stars in and self produces numerous shows around NYC such as The Jeff Lawrence Show at Stand Up NY the 99 Cent Comedy Store, and Industry Fridays at the New York Comedy Club,, as well as Killerz of Comedy, Midnight Madness, and the Jeff Lawrence Variety Show at The Broadway Comedy Club, He has headlined the Laugh Factory Holiday Show, and performs regularly at Gotham Comedy Club, Comix and numerous other staples of the New York Comedy scene. Lead singer of Rock Act Milk The Cow Jeff has recored with and performed with members of The Cult, Robert Palmer, Buck Cherry, Chuck Berry, Dwight Yokam, LA Guns, among others. His debut record charted on over 100 stations and inspired RIP Magazine to encourage readers to get “Moooved”, comparing Jeff to an REM with Mideastern influences. His diverse background has enabled him to capture audiences Internationally as well as here in the U.S. A trained actor and Graduate of NYU’s Tisch Scool of the Arts, he appeared in the Stage Musical “Scott and Zelda” at The wings Theatre. He played none other than Ernest Hemingway. In addition he has acted in various commercial and TV, and film roles, and most notably has a Grammy appearance with Bob Dylan as a member of his entourage.
