James Draper Bio
James Draper is a stand-up comic, and then some! His quick wit, funny stories and catchy songs keep you laughing and quoting long after each show. A comic who exudes fun and can scare up a good time everywhere he performs. James covers a lot of daily nuisances like, marriage, sex, drugs, television, religion, race, work, ailments, and a bevy of other day-to-day observations. Jokes for real thinkers and some are simple stinkers. James has hosted, opened, and featured for comics and events throughout the Midwest. Whether it's been a club, corporate event, fund-raiser, concert, fair, tavern, restaraunt, or the occasional theatre, James Draper has lit it up! A joy to have at any venue.
Currently James can be found as a performer/writer with The Blacklist sketch and improv comedy troupe every weekend at Circa 21's The Speakeasy, Rock Island, IL. He also hosts an open-mic night every 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month at QC Hammertime, Moline, IL.
