Don Friesen Bio
Smart and Savvy highly-caffeinated comedy... Don is a two-time winner of the prestigious San Francisco International Comedy Competition (the only two-time winner in it's storied 33-year history.) Past finalists in the competition include Robin Williams, Dana Carvey, Ellen DeGeneres, Sinbad, and Dane Cook just to name a few.
Don is a favorite on the KLOS 5:00 Funnies, and was recently featured in the TBS Comedy Festival in Las Vegas and the “Just For Laughs” comedy festival in Montreal.
Engaging, clean, clever, and flat-out fun, Don's act is a high energy satire of his life as a suburban husband and father of two trying to get through the day with a little money in the bank and a bit of dignity intact. Major themes are technology problems, marriage and parenting, with a fun mix of eclectic impressions including John Lithgow, Gary Busey and Dr. Phil to name a few...
Don’s credits include Live at Gotham, Comics Unleashed, Later, Friday Nights and The Martin Short Show, and he was recently featured in the Montreal Just For Laughs festival and this years’ TBS’ “The Comedy Festival” in Las Vegas.
