Darrell La Montre Bio
Darrell La Montre is an L.A. native who has been performing comedy off and on since '96. His original brand of humor is best characterized as sardonic, edgy, and thought provoking. No one is exempt from being the recipient of his venom (not even himself). His ability to recognize patterns among human behavior and deliver his witty observations in an intelligent and humorous manner is exceptional. La Montre doesn't typically interact much with the audience, preferring instead to launch into one scathing, hilarious bit after another attacking such diverse subjects as: the homeless, fat people supersizing their combos, slow supermarket checkers, and Mexican valet parkers. He has performed at such notable comedy clubs as The Laugh Factory, The Comedy Store (Hollywood and La Jolla), The Hollywood Improv, The Ice House and many more. Darrell is a comedian to be taken seriously.
