Throughout his adolescence, Clay excelled in baseball and football until he realized it was all in his mind and his professional dream was another big joke- Upon seeing him play, baseball scouts suggested he enlist in the Marine Corps. The Marines, where the obvious love and respect he received from the drill instructors (YEAH RIGHT) strangely enough would help develop his comedic skills. In addition, those same genuine personality traits remain key parts of his unique and unforgettable form of comedy.
