Brooks Wheelan Bio
Brooks started his comedy career fresh out of high school in Iowa. During college, he performed throughout the Midwest and was a contributing writer for Collegehumor.com. After spending time performing in Chicago and studying at Second City, he decided to move to the Los Angeles where he is quickly being noticed for his unique stand up. Brooks was recently reviewed in the London Times which stated, “Wheelan is himself a name to watch, getting great reviews for his sharp and sometimes dark observations of American life.” Brooks is also a trained improviser and is currently working with the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in LA. He is also a regular performer at the Hollywood Improv Comedy Club.
