Bob Wheeler Bio
Until recently, Bob, like most other standup comics and actors, was employed as a Certified Public Accountant. Deciding to expound on that exciting lifestyle, he began to dabble in the world of comedy.
Bob Wheeler has been performing standup comedy for several years. Bob has performed at various venues throughout the country but calls the Comedy Store his home base. He is also the CPA for the Comedy Store.
Prior to standup, he could be seen at the Acme Comedy Theatre’s sketch shows for four years, where he honed his acting and writing skills. He has done several independent films, music videos, theater and commercials.
He is currently part of the “Don’t Trash California” blitz for CalTrans, Treasure Island Resort print ads as well as the print ad campaign for First Tennessee Bank as “smart money.”
Bob has studied athe Beverly Hills Playhouse. He has also studied with
Gary Austin (founder of the Groundlings), Cynthia Szigeti and the Groundlings.
