Amanda Lazar Bio
In between her rigorous schedule of status updates, tweets, emails, IM’s, texts, and smoke signals, Amanda Lazar finds the time to perform regularly in and around Los Angeles. Her credits include performances at: The Second City Hollywood, The Gardner Stages, The El Rey Theater, and The Greenway Court Theater to name a few. In 2011, she won the 9th Annual LA Comedy Improv Festival with Margot’s Pie at iO West.
Some of her film, television, and web credits include: Bandwagon, The Today Show, the KTLA Morning News, the Dr. Phil Show, and appearances on The Second City Network.
Amanda attended Northwestern University for Theater and Performance Art, Berklee College of Music, and got a Master’s Degree in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica. As an improviser, actress, singer, and writer Amanda admits to being a creative polymath; and can attest to the fact that a little dedication and great parking karma will get you far in Hollywood.
