Even at her relatively tender age, Alix Paige has encountered many different men in her life and has experienced love in all its forms. Through old jazz standards and Musical Theatre showstoppers, Alix tells stories of love, loss, and just pure and simple lust. Alix's "haunting" and "sensual" vocals give her an "old-soul" quality that has been described as "well beyond her years" and with this unique voice she explores the love songs of brilliant composers like Gershwin, Porter, Sondheim, and Kander & Ebb. You will not want to miss Alix Paige's shimmering presence and powerful vocals in this Metropolitan Room debut! Alix Paige is thrilled to be making her New York City Cabaret debut at the Metropolitan Room! She has performed with bands of all styles nationwide and performed her first cabaret at the The Globe in Miami, FL. She has sung with the world-renowned jazz pianist Shelly Berg and the up-and-coming star pianist Daniel C. Strange, in a concert for Angela Lansbury. Although she started singing in temple at the age of 5, Alix's vocal career has predominantly revolved around the Musical Theatre. She most recently returned from The National Tour of *Cabaret*, in which she was the understudy to Sally Bowles and the female swing. Previous to "Cabaret", Alix played Ginger, a role originated by Stephanie Block, in the National Tour of Irving Berlin’s "I Love a Piano". Other credits include "Sunday in the Park with George" (Dot),"Mad Forest "(Lucia)," And the World Goes ‘Round" (Woman 4). NY Theatre: "Too Much, Too Far, Too Soon" (Elizabeth), AlCarmine’s "Christmas Rappings". Alix received her BFA in Musical Theatre from University of Miami and currently resides in New York City, where she is working on a new jazz record as well as projects in theatre, film, TV, and voiceovers.
