A lively, quick paced, smart joke writer Alex Grubard is always a riot on stage and a quotable comedian days, weeks and months after his performances. Alex began his stand-up at 18 while working at New York Comedy Club in 2005. Six years later, after having performed at almost every comedy club, improv theater and bar in all of the five boroughs Alex moved to Philadelphia to major in English at Temple University. In 2011 he performed in the Live Arts & Philly Fringe Festival, F. Harold Festival, City Spotlight, POPPED! Music Festival and First Person Arts Festival. His comedy has gotten him into the Final Four of the 2010 Comix March Madness competition, seen on Comedy Central's "Web Shows," heard on Sirius/XM's "Maxim Channel" and read on Campus Philly and the NY Examiner. In addition to being a likeable comedian Alex is also a comedy nerd, amatuer cook and Mariokart enthusiest.
